Job Description
This role will work on a team that helps build and publish advice articles and videos published to the company website. The goal is to help educate and inform readers on a variety of advice topics related to banking, insurance, spending/saving, while making sure we meet the unique needs of military families – all to help them be financially secure. Each of these articles/digital assets are written and created by other advice experts, and the Project Coordinator role is involved with helping get those assets approved and published through a list of tasks that need to be completed for each piece.
In this role, you’ll be reaching out via email and other digital lines of communication to partners in legal, compliance, editing, and design experts that need to review and sign off on the guidance that needs to be published. Ideal candidates can express professional tenacity in reaching out to partners to ensure all deadlines are met. The role works independently, but part of a team of 14 contractors and fulltime employees to own, manage, edit, and create these pieces. The ideal candidate likes processes, completing tasks, hitting deadlines, coordinating multiple people’s input, and executing with excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Provides the project manager support and assistance in scheduling meetings, documentation, updating project documents, communication, and training.
- Updates the project plan.
- Assists in information collection and validations.
- Helps prepare status reports and presentations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Must have strong knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks at various points within a process simultaneously
- Acute attention to detail, deadlines and managing timelines
- Experience working with legal counsel and compliance partners and business stakeholders
- Experience with Jira Workflow Management, Appian workflows, Agile and Kanban processes
- Experience escalating to leadership
- Project or marketing campaign management experience
- Experience with copy editing, content style guides (specifically AP Stylebook)
